Oxford burglaries believed to be linked

Two burglaries and an attempted burglary which happened within days of each other in Oxford are being linked.

Cash, a lap top, mobile phone, wine and a trolley were taken from homes in Hurst Rise Road and Hids Copse Road, Botley, on Monday and Tuesday.

Officers said a witness also saw a white man in his late teens or early 20s in the garden of one house in Cumnor Hill on Thursday 5 May.

The suspect is described as having dark hair and wearing a grey hooded top.

Thames Valley Police is urging householders to keep outbuildings locked and to remove valuable items from view.
