Blue star Lee Ryan arrested over fight outside Oxford nightclub

Blue singer Lee Ryan has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm following a fight outside a nightclub.

The star was held after an altercation outside Roppongi, in George Street, Oxford, at 0100 BST on Saturday.

Police said a 28-year-old man from Henley was bailed until 24 July.

Boyband Blue represented the UK at May's Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf with the song I Can, and finished in 11th place.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "A 28-year-old man from Henley was arrested on suspicion of ABH after an altercation outside Roppongi in George Street, Oxford shortly after 0100 BST on Saturday.

"He was released on police bail until 24 July."
