RSPCA wants Oxfordshire fosterers after Chilton closure

The RSPCA's Oxfordshire branch is looking for people to foster rabbits and cats after its decision to close one of its centres.

It closed Willow Farm in Chilton near Didcot when its lease expired and is looking for new premises.

A spokesman said: "It was felt that a new centre would have better facilities and also the opportunity to expand."

The charity will pay all the costs involved in the care of fostered animals and provide advice and support.

It has found new homes for most animals at the centre but needs to house any new animals needing help after the closure.

The spokesman added: "It is extremely rewarding to be able to give an animal that has had a troubled past a fresh start and to be able to know that you have helped to ensure it has a bright future."
