'Cleaver' attack in Berinsfield: Man charged

A man has been charged over an alleged knife attack in Oxfordshire which left another man needing hospital treatment.

Police said the 59-year-old victim sustained a cut to his head from a "large knife or cleaver" in Berinsfield on Tuesday morning.

He was taken to JR Hospital in Oxford but was later discharged.

A 33-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possessing a bladed weapon in public and possessing a class B drug.
