The Bodleian Libraries' treasures

A selection of the Bodleian Libraries' rarest items has gone on display in its public exhibition gallery.

Visitors can see books such as the Codex Mendoza, a 16th Century account of Aztec life with pictographs by an Aztec artist and annotated in Spanish.

There is also the First Folio of Shakespeare's plays which was published seven years after his death by two of his fellow actors.
