Man charged over Templars Square shop stabbing

A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a woman was stabbed in the back of her leg in an Oxford shopping centre.

Police were called to the B&M Stores in Templars Square, Cowley, on Monday afternoon following the attack on a 44-year-old woman.

The victim suffered puncture wounds and was taken to hospital.

A 19-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident and is due in court on Wednesday.
