Bicester pedestrian killed in lorry crash

A male pedestrian in his 30s has been killed in a road accident in Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police said the man was hit by a lorry in Shakespeare Drive, Bicester. He died at the scene at about 14:40 GMT.

The driver of the lorry was unharmed in the incident.

Police closed the Middleton Stoney Road for a short time while they investigated the crash but it has since been reopened.
