Teenager sexually assaulted by man in Oxford

A 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Oxford, police have said.

The victim was walking along Sandy Lane West when she was grabbed by a man who then attacked her.

The victim is due to be interviewed by specially-trained officers so there is currently no description of her attacker, Thames Valley Police said.

Anyone with information about the attack, near Spring Lane at about 19:50 GMT on Saturday, is asked to contact police.
