Detectives investigating a stabbing in Oxford have released CCTV images of clubbers who they believe may have information about the attack.

The victim, 22, underwent emergency surgery after being stabbed several times early on 12 February.

He was found by friends in Temple Street at about 01:30 GMT but police think he may have staggered there after being attacked elsewhere.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The victim, who was stabbed in the arm and stomach, is now out of hospital but is still recovering from his injuries.

Officers believe a fight broke out at the junction of St Clement's Street and The Plain, near Clem's nightclub, and that the victim ran off along the Cowley Road.

Det Con Craig Burchall said: "We are releasing images of people outside the club as we believe they may have valuable information about the incident."

The men arrested, aged 21, 24 and 25, from the Littlemore area, have been bailed to appear at St Aldates police station on 24 April.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
