Man cautioned for leaving gun at Harwell war memorial

A man has been issued with a caution by police after leaving an imitation firearm at the foot of a war memorial in Oxfordshire.

Armed response officers attended the scene in the High Street, Harwell, on 3 May to retrieve the replica .38 revolver.

Thames Valley Police arrested a 46-year-old man the following day.

He has been issued with a caution for possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.
