Oxford sex trafficking inquiry: Man released without charge

A man arrested as part of an investigation into an alleged child prostitution ring in Oxford has been released without charge.

The 35-year-old was arrested on 22 March as part of Operation Bullfinch, an investigation into exploitation of girls aged between 11 and 16.

Nine people have been charged in connection with the Thames Valley Police operation.

A further nine are due to answer bail on 24 and 25 October.

Fifty girls are believed to have been targeted in the alleged prostitution ring.

The investigation is being carried in conjunction with Oxfordshire County Council's Children, Education and Families Department.
