Birmingham man charged after A40 fatal collision near Witney

A Birmingham man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal crash in Oxfordshire.

Herve Bakundukize, 29, from Coventry, was a passenger in a Land Rover Discovery involved in a collision on the A40 near Witney in September.

He died from his injuries the following day in hospital.

Andrew Myers, 45, of Hazelwell Crescent, Stirchley, will appear before magistrates in Banbury on 4 March.

Police said Mr Myers was driving the Land Rover which collided with a tractor towing a trailer and another Land Rover Discovery, just before 15:00 BST on 5 September 2012.
