Man, 96, hit by reversing car in Oxfordshire dies

A 96-year-old pedestrian has died almost two weeks after he was hit by a car as it reversed in an Oxfordshire car park.

The Ford Ka was in the Co-op store car park in Albion Street, Chipping Norton, when the collision happened at about 13:30 BST on 4 April.

The man, who has not yet been named, was taken to hospital with a head injury but died on Wednesday.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
