Abingdon man denies rape and child sex offenses

A 22-year-old Oxfordshire man has denied rape and child sex offences.

Owen Froude, of Gainsborough Green, in Abingdon, pleaded not guilty at Oxford Crown Court to one count of rape.

He also denied one count of causing or inciting a child to be involved in child prostitution or pornography.

The offences are alleged to have happened between 26 December 2012 and 4 January 2013. Mr Froude was released on bail and is expected to stand trial on 25 November.
