Aylesbury driver dies as car careers off road in Thame

A driver has died when his car careered off the road and crashed in Oxfordshire.

The 69-year-old, from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, was driving a Renault Laguna when it mounted a nearside verge on Moreton Road near the A329 Ryecote Lane junction in Thame.

The vehicle came to a rest against the perimeter fence of a scrap yard. The man died at the scene on Saturday.

No-one else was injured. Police have appealed for witnesses.
