The family of a Kenilworth woman who died in a motorway crash from which her baby daughter was rescued unharmed have paid tribute to her.

Joanna Bull, 29, died when her Peugeot 406 was involved in a collision with a lorry, on the M40 near Bicester.

Her family described her as: "Vibrant, beautiful, and caring. A girl who added zest to a room, who had found true love with her husband of just one year".

Mrs Bull died at the scene, before her daughter was airlifted to hospital.

'Utterly unbearable'

In a statement, her family said: "To have her taken from her family at such a happy time is utterly unbearable.

"We will never forget how much fun and laughter you brought into all our lives, you will remain in our hearts and memories always."

The crash happened on the southbound carriageway, just before junction nine at 11:20 BST on Friday.

Ruby, who was in the rear of the estate car, was taken by air ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford as a precaution.

Thames Valley Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses following the crash.
