Jogger raped on bridleway near A34 in Drayton

A jogger has been pulled to the ground and raped on a bridleway next to a busy road in Oxfordshire.

The woman, in her 20s, was out running on Thursday on the path adjacent to the A34 in Drayton when a man attacked her, police said.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the attack, which happened between 20:30 and 20:45 BST.

Det Insp Louise Roddy said: "We take all incidents of this nature very seriously."
