Night time cyclists targeted by police in Bicester

Cyclists caught riding in the dark without lights in Bicester will be given £50 fines during a 10-day police crackdown.

Police said people cycling without lights in the town had been highlighted as a problem by members of the public.

It is illegal to cycle on the road after dark without without white front and red rear lights lit.
