Didcot pipe burst leaves hundreds of homes without water

About 250 homes in Oxfordshire were without water from Friday evening due to a water main burst.

The pipe burst at 18:45 GMT in the Didcot area. Bottled water had been delivered to affected residents.

A Thames Water spokesman said the company apologised "for any disruption" and that a team of engineers had been "working around the clock".

Resident Steve Allsworth from Chilton said: "It's very difficult with three children with the lack of toilets."
