Cyclist dies in crash with car at Wantage, Oxfordshire

A cyclist has been killed in a crash with a car in Oxfordshire.

The man was riding along Blowing Stone Hill, near Wantage, when he was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Zafira at the junction of the B4507 Kingstone Lisle.

The 33-year-old cyclist was declared dead at the scene on Sunday afternoon.

The driver of the car, a 53-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The road was closed for several hours.
