Female officers injured during Didcot fight arrests

Two female police officers have been injured while trying to break up a fight in an Oxfordshire town.

Police were called to reports of a fight near Didcot railway station at 06:30 BST.

Thames Valley Police said one female officer received head injuries and the other sustained a wrist injury. Both were taken to hospital in Oxford.

Two men, both aged 20 and from Didcot, were arrested on suspicion of affray. Both officers have now been discharged.
