Plans for major changes to the road layout in the Headington area of Oxford have been approved by the county council.

The £12.5m scheme aims to ease congestion and improve access to the city's hospitals and universities.

Several road junctions will be redesigned, including the intersection of Headley Way and John Radcliffe Hospital access road.

Some parking places may also be lost to accommodate new cycle lanes.
