Shrewsbury man charged with murders remanded

A man charged with murdering three men whose bodies were found in the Shropshire area has been remanded in custody.

Robin Stanislaw Ligus, 58, from Shrewsbury, was charged with murdering Trevor Bradley, Brian Coles and Bernard Czyzewska in 1994.

Their bodies were found between April and November 1994.

The case at Birmingham Crown Court was adjourned to 10 January for a plea and case management hearing.

The body of Mr Bradley, 53, was found in April 1994 in his burnt-out car near to Melverley, North Shropshire.

Mr Coles, 57, was found dead in October 1994 at his home in Higher Heath, near Whitchurch.

The body of Mr Czyzewska, 36, was found in the River Severn at Shrewsbury in November 1994.
