Deadline looms for Bridgnorth recycling plant plans

A public consultation period on plans for a household waste and recycling plant on a 4.5 acre (1.8 hectare) site in Shropshire is coming to an end.

Veolia Environmental Services wants to develop the former ITW sheet metal warehouse in Faraday Drive, Bridgnorth.

Due to some residents' concerns about smell, noise and traffic, it invited councillors to view its Oswestry plant but said the invitation was declined.

Friday is the deadline for commenting on the application.
