Three Shropshire cannabis factories closed

Three cannabis factories producing drugs with a street value of nearly £100,000 in Shropshire have been closed.

West Mercia Police said plants were recently found in a loft in the Belvidere area of Shrewsbury.

More than 80 ounces (2kg) of dried cannabis bush were found in an outbuilding in Llynclys and more plants were found in premises in Oswestry.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis.

They have since been released on police bail.
