A fifth person has been arrested over an attempted murder in Shropshire.

At least four shots were fired at a house in Leicester Way, Leegomery, Telford, shortly after midnight on 26 March, West Mercia Police said.

Two bullets were found but no-one was hurt. Four people were arrested and three were bailed pending further investigation.

A 17-year-old handed himself into officers at Malinsgate Police Station on Monday where he is being questioned.

One of the four people arrested over the murder attempt has been charged with making threats to kill, and witness or juror intimidation relating to an incident on 24 March.

The accused is due before Telford magistrates on Tuesday for a remand hearing.
