Youths throw cans after Market Drayton break-in

Youths broke into a takeaway, then ran through a town throwing stolen drinks cans at each other and trying to open a stolen till.

Six youths smashed two front doors at Zilans Takeaway in High Street, Market Drayton, Shropshire, early on Sunday.

They escaped into Queen Street, went through an alley onto Cheshire Street and cut across under an archway to the Frogmore Road car park.

Police said the streets were busy with people and appealed for information.

The burglary happened between 0125 and 0135 BST.
