Church Walk building site in Donnington burgled

Copper piping worth hundreds of pounds has been stolen from homes being built in Shropshire.

West Mercia Police is investigating following the theft at a building site in Church Walk, Donnington, between 6 and 9 May.

A spokesman said thieves broke into the building site and several of the partially completed homes.

He said the suspects forced entry breaking windows and doors causing more than £2,500 of damage.

Once inside the homes they stole several hundred pounds worth of copper piping from the kitchen areas before making their escape he added.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
