Man freed from under tractor in Bridgnorth

A man has been rescued from under the wheels of a tractor in a Shropshire town.

Fire and ambulance crews were called to King's Loade, Bridgnorth, at about 1900 BST on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the fire service said the man was freed by crews who rolled the tractor forward.

An ambulance service spokesman said the man was treated at the scene for an ankle injury but did not want to be taken to hospital for treatment.
