Man, 25, given bail over Charles Green's death

A man arrested on suspicion of murdering an 87-year-old Shropshire man has been given bail.

Charles Green, of Ambleside Road, Oswestry, suffered hip, arm and head injuries when he was attacked by two men who broke into his home on 2 May.

He later died in the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on 2 June.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on Thursday. Another man, also aged 25, has been previously charged in the case.

He faces charges relating to trespassing and subjecting someone to violence and has been remanded in custody until July.
