Man threatened in Telford knife robbery

An 18-year-old man was threatened with a knife during a robbery in Shropshire.

The victim was approached by two men on New Road, Wrockwardine Wood, Telford, on Sunday night.

One of them, described as being in his late teens and black, demanded a mobile phone and other possessions and produced the knife.

The victim handed over his phone and about £50. The other offender was described as white and also aged in his late teens.

He was described as wearing white trainers, while both offenders were described as having black clothing.

The incident happened at about 23:10 BST as the victim was walking alone.
