A49 Shropshire fatal crash victims named

A man and a woman who died in a crash on the A49 in Shropshire have been named by police.

The collision, which involved a car and a van, happened last Wednesday between Craven Arms and Church Stretton.

The driver of the van was Glyn Rafferty, 38, from Wolverhampton, and the car driver was 67-year-old Pauline Griffiths, from Cornwall.

A police spokesman said they are appealing for witnesses who saw the collision to contact them.
