Alberbury lorry crash: Two injured and road closed

Two lorry drivers were injured when their vehicles crashed in a Shropshire village.

Emergency services were called to the B4393 near the village hall in Alberbury at about 12:55 GMT.

One man, thought to be in his 50s, was freed from his cab by the fire service in about 45 minutes and flown to hospital with leg injuries.

The other driver, also believed to be in his 50s, was taken to hospital with a head injury.

The road was closed until just before 18:00 GMT.
