Bridgnorth murder victim named as Richard Sherratt

A man whose body was found in a flat in Shropshire has been named as Richard Sherratt.

The 57-year-old was discovered in a first-floor property in Old School Mews, Bridgnorth, on Thursday.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died from head injuries. Three people remain in custody following their arrest on Saturday.

Two men and a woman from the West Midlands area were arrested on suspicion of murder.

A 30-year-old Telford woman arrested on Friday has been released without charge.
