Shrewsbury launches 'new branding' to increase tourism
A new "brand image" has been launched for a Shropshire town as part of a plan to increase visitor numbers.
Organisers said it highlighted Shrewsbury's "one-off" attractions, Tudor architecture and independent shops.
Destination Shrewsbury includes the town council, Shropshire Council, tourism associations and businesses.
A pack of promotional material has been put together for businesses to use to highlight the town.
Councillor Mike Owen said they wanted the country to know there was "nowhere like Shrewsbury".
The cabinet member with responsibility for tourism and culture on Shropshire Council said: "We now have a collection of images, words and ideas that give a clear, strong message about why Shrewsbury is special."
