Weston Heath crash: Man dies in hospital
A 26-year-old man has died after a crash in Shropshire which also killed a horse, police have said.
The three-vehicle pile-up happened on King Street, Weston Heath, in Shropshire, on Tuesday.
The man was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham but died a day later, West Mercia Police said.
A spokesman said the man was not being named at this time but was believed to be from the Newport area.
Police said the crash involved a white Fiat Punto, green Volkswagen Passat and a white Ford Transit van, with the Punto colliding with the horse.
The 36-year-old horse rider also remains in hospital, where her condition is described as stable.
