'Severe fire' destroys bungalow in Whittington, Shropshire
A "severe" fire has destroyed a bungalow near Oswestry in Shropshire.
Fire engines were called to the semi-detached property on Western Avenue, Whittington at 07:26 GMT on Friday.
A male occupant suffered burns in the blaze, which took over "majority of the bungalow", and was also taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
Neil Griffiths of Shropshire Fire Service said he believes the fire to be accidental. Crews prevented it from spreading to the adjoining property.
