Veterans' film is shown in Coventry Cathedral

6 June 2014 Last updated at 19:55 BST

A film, which was a collaboration between schools in Coventry and veterans of the D-Day landings, has been shown during a service at the city's cathedral.

It is hoped the film, named Peace through Unity, will help keep the memory of what happened during World War Two alive for the next generation.

Giles Latcham spoke to Dennis Davison, the founder of the Normandy UK charity, producer Jen McDonald and teenagers Courtney and Ronaldo.
