Man and boy arrested after Telford stabbing

A man and a teenager have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder after a man was stabbed in a street in Telford.

The man, 32, and a boy aged 16, were held in connection with the attack in Woollam Road on 14 April.

The victim, also 32, was stabbed in the chest and taken to hospital, where he was expected to make a full recovery, West Mercia Police said.

Two men appeared in court charged with attempted murder last week.

Shaquil Sheamus Sultan, 19, and Mohammed Kabir Zaman, 27, both from Telford, appeared before magistrates on 18 April and will appear at crown court next month.

The pair were also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
