Man robbed of money and jewellery in Street
A 70-year-old man was forced to hand over money and jewellery of sentimental value in a robbery in Street.
He was robbed by three men at about 1900 GMT on Friday after withdrawing £150 from a cashpoint in the Crispin Centre.
They also took a necklace bought for him by his late brother and a bracelet.
Det Con Jonathan Hooper said: "This incident has left the victim upset at having to hand over a sentimental piece of jewellery."
He said: "While this was a frightening experience for the victim, I would like to reassure local people that it was an isolated incident and that people can visit Street confident that they are unlikely to be the victim of crime."
