Wells farm fire 'caused by electrical tractor fault'

Fire crews believe an electrical fault in a tractor was the likely cause of a fire on a Somerset farm.

The fire service arrived at Vale Hollow Farm on the Old Bristol Road, in Wells, at about 0630 GMT and left at 0930 GMT.

Fifteen firefighters attended and because the tractor was located next to some unknown fertiliser four of the crew wore breathing apparatus.

An Incident Command Unit from Taunton also attended. No-one was injured.
