Two men injured by van in Cheltenham hit and run

Police in Cheltenham are appealing for witnesses after two men were struck by a white van which failed to stop.

The men were waiting for a taxi in Clarence Street when they were hit by the van just before midnight on Sunday.

They were on the pavement when the van, believed to be a Renault Kangoo, mounted the kerb and knocked them to the ground with its wing mirror.

The men were treated in hospital for leg, back and head injuries.
