Glastonbury assault leaves man needing facial surgery

A man needed facial surgery after he was assaulted by two men in Somerset.

The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, 7 August, on Street Road, Glastonbury, opposite Tor Leisure.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was knocked to the floor following an argument with one of the men.

The second man kicked and punched the victim in his head and body. A witness shouted at the suspects, who then ran off towards Morrisons supermarket.

One of the suspects is described as a white man in his late teens, of medium build, and about 5ft 8in tall.

He was wearing a brown zip-up hooded top and dark jeans with white print on the back.

The other man was wearing a dark hooded top.
