Sand Bay caravan park death: Tribute to Philip Gibbs
The family of a man who died following an incident at a caravan park in North Somerset have paid tribute to him.
Philip Gibbs, 58, died in hospital after police were called to Sand Bay caravan park at Kewstoke, near Weston-super-Mare, on Saturday.
In a statement, his family paid tribute to a "very sociable person" who would be mourned by many.
Sharon Hodges, 40, of Sand Bay caravan park, appeared in court on Tuesday charged with Mr Gibbs' murder.
'Loved by all'
Mr Gibbs' family said he leaves behind two stepsons and five grandchildren.
"Philip was a very sociable person; he had many friends and was loved by all his family," they said.
"The family would like to thank all who are helping us through this very difficult time and we know many will mourn him."
Ms Hodges appeared before North Somerset magistrates and was remanded in custody.
The case will next be heard at Bristol Crown Court on 6 December.
