Three arrested over chemicals found in Taunton
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of making or possessing explosives after chemicals were discovered at a property in Taunton.
Police executed a warrant at the address in Warwick Gardens in the Somerset town on Thursday.
A Ministry of Defence bomb disposal team attended and helped "with the safe disposal of some substances", the force said.
Two 21-year-old men and a 17-year-old boy are currently in police custody.
On Friday, bomb disposal experts found an "unknown substance" at an address in Park Street in Taunton and are destroying it as a precaution.
No properties were evacuated during either incident.
Avon and Somerset police say the arrests are not linked to terrorism.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
