Peter Gibbs: Woman denies Sand Bay caravan park murder

A woman has appeared in court accused of the murder of a 58-year-old grandfather at a caravan park in North Somerset.

Philip Gibbs died in hospital after being found at Sand Bay, Kewstoke, near Weston-super-Mare, on 19 November.

Sharon Hodges, 40, of Sand Bay, pleaded not guilty when she appeared at Bristol Crown Court via videolink.

Mr Gibbs' family said he had two stepsons and five grandchildren. The trial is expected to start in April.
