Motorcyclist dies in road crash in Lympsham

A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in a village in Somerset.

The accident happened on Sunday shortly after 15:30 BST on Rectory Way in Lympsham, about six miles (9.6km) from Weston-super-Mare.

Police have not yet released the name of the motorcyclist.

Officers said a man was arrested but has been released on bail without charge. Detectives are also appealing for witnesses.
