Royal Mail's Bridgwater staff return to work

Staff at a delivery office in Somerset have resolved a dispute which began on Friday over a colleague's suspension.

About 100 workers also staged the mass walk out in Bridgwater in protest over time off for medical appointments.

The suspended worker is expected to be reinstated later, the Communication and Workers Union has said.

Deliveries to 34,000 homes in the TA5, TA6 and TA7 postcode areas in Somerset were affected by the Royal Mail walk outs on Friday and Saturday.
