Bristol and Somerset flooded as heavy rain falls

Help

Flooding has caused damage, misery and travel chaos across Bristol and Somerset.

In Somerset more than 40mm of rain fell on the county in 15 hours.

Schools were closed while some farmers say it is the worst flooding they have seen in 40 years.

Steve Nelson from Taunton Deane Cricket Club says the floods are the worst he has seen while Emily and Michael Errington describe the water's impact on their home.
