Three appear in court over death of David Hick, 84

Three people have appeared in court charged in connection with the death of an 84-year-old man in Somerset.

David Hick, was found with head injuries in Bruton on 14 October and later died.

Robert Finlay, 47 and Felicity Wheeler, 31, both of Rickhayes, Wincanton, and Joseph Breen, 38, from London appeared at South Somerset Magistrates' Court.

The three were bailed and are due to appear at Taunton Crown Court on 16 February.

Mr Finlay is charged with causing death by careless driving, failing to stop after a road accident, conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and failing to report a road traffic collision.

Ms Wheeler and Mr Breenare charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
